Support & Donations

Since the  launch of Five Villages First Responders back in 2004 we are delighted to say that we have had a huge amount of support from local residents, businesses and organisations, with everything from fund raising and sponsored events to generous donations.

As a voluntary organisation, this is exactly the kind of support we need to enable us to continue to provide the service we do to the local community.

To fully equip a new volunteer Community First Responder it costs in the region of £2,000. All donations go towards keeping the scheme running,  including the purchase of new equipment, defibrillators (including batteries and pad replacement) and expanding the number of CFR kits we have available to give us maximum coverage of the area we serve.

To help us continue what we do you can donate on our new Just Giving page or please contact us to discuss ways of supporting our team.

All financial support we receive is used for purchasing new equipment and maintaining that already in use and supporting the continuation of the group. All team members are volunteers, they give up their time to undertake regular training, to run and administer the group, to take part in fund raising/awareness events and to train local people in life saving skills, as well as being on call and attending emergencies - they do all of this as dedicated volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who supports us - from all the team at Five Villages First Responders.
