Thank
You Messages
Since
our launch, we have received several kind messages of thanks from
the patients we have attended or from their family and friends.
We have also had some very touching donations and thank you's from
the families of patients who very sadly despite everyone's best
efforts have passed away, but the relatives are extremelly grateful
for us attending and have contacted us and give us their thanks.
Below is a small selection of the thank
you messages we have received:-
From
a patient we attended in Misterton:
"To the two lady First Responders who attended me before the
Ambulance arrived in the early hours of the morning on 10th June
2005. Please accept my sincere thanks for all you did for me when
I was so ill.
You
do a marvellous job and I am so very grateful. May you go from strength
to strength. Many many thanks.
From
the wife of a Misterton man:
"Please find enclosed a donation to the First Responders. This
is to say thank you for coming out twice to my husband. I would
just like to say it was such a relief to see the First Responders
on Christmas day and very reassuring to know how prompt and professional
they are."
From
a patient from Gringley on the Hill:
"Just a short note to say thank you for coming to my aid last
Saturday so quickly. It is now Wednesday and I am feeling a lot
better. Thank you so much to both of the First Responders who attended."
From
the wife of a late Mattersey Thorpe resident:
"Thank you such much to the First Responders who came to the
assistance of my husband on many occasions. A special thanks also
to the two lady First Responders who cared for me after the last
call out, when sadly my husband did not recover and died on the
way to hospital. Thank you all so much."
From the wife of a Misterton patient:
"Please accept this doantion to the First Responders as a small
token of our grattitude for your help when my husband had a heart
attack in September. He is now fit and well, thanks to your quick
assistance, I'm sure! What a great job you all do, thank you so
much."
From
a lady patient in Graiselound:
"Thank you so much for your prompt help when I collapsed. Not
that I can remember too much about it. I am back to full health
again now, thank you."
