Music event at White House Farm raises over £10,000

The annual Party on the Field event at White House Farm, Misterton, has yet again raised an amazing amount of money for local good causes.

Organised by Chris and Phil Clay (pictured), and supported by a team of helpers and local bands, the event is held on the field at White House Farm Camping & Caravan site.

This years fun packed day was held on Saturday 26th July and featured a great line up of local bands and musicians, plus stalls, games, a raffle and silent auction.

A terrific grand total of £10,685 was raised and was divided equally between five charities: NICU Little Warriors, MIND, Breast Cancer Now, Help Me I'm Fine and Five Villages First Responders, each organisation receiving £2,137 towards their good work.

Five Villages First Responders Group Coordinator, Martyn Johnson said: "We would like to say a massive thank you to Chris, Phil and team for all of their hard work in organising yet another brilliant event and raising so much money for charity. The time and dedication they put into this event each year is absolutely huge and their efforts are very much appreciated. A big thank you also goes to all those involved, including Multitrack for providing the sound system, all of the local bands and musicians who played on the day and all those who helped, supported, donated prizes and attended the event.  Donations such as this help us to continue our Community First Responding work within the local area."
