Open Gardens & Classic Car Day Supporting Responder Scheme
Gringley on the Hill Open Gardens and Classic Car event has chosen Five Villages First Responders to be on the organisations to receive donations from this years day.
The event is being held on Sunday 9th June from 12noon until 5pm. There will be seven gardens to visit, and over 150 classic cars and vehicles registered to attend. Lots of other things will be happening as well across the village of Gringley on the Hill.
Five Villages First Responders will be attending to give demos of CPR and use of defibrillators.
There's free parking, and a Routemaster bus will be on hand to transport visitors around the village to the various different locations.

John, Community First Responder from our team has been out and about on the Isle of Axholme during the last couple of weeks of January showing the members of both Owston Ferry and Haxey WIs some important life-saving skills, including CPR and using a Defibrillator. A big thank you to both groups for the very warm welcome given to John and for taking part; plus a big well done to John for his continued great work across our community.

A massive thank you to all of the team (including our very own Jess) and all the residents at Whittons Mill, Gainsborough, who chose Five Villlages First Responders as their charity of the year and have raised and donated an amazing £1,100 to our organisation. Thank you all for your hard work and fundraising efforts and for choosing FVFR, it is very much appreciated./ Pictured are Whittons Mill residents with FVFR Community First Responders George, Mary and Mick, with Jess who is an FVFR team member and the Centre Manager at Whittons Mill.
