New Public Defibrillator in Misterton

Another public access defibrillator supported by Five Villages First Responders has been installed in Misterton (that’s 6 in total now spread across the village of Misterton) - this one is outside The Red Hart on Church Street and is available 24x7.

A big thanks goes to Misterton Parish Council & The Red Hart who have funded the defibrillator, cabinet and installation.

If needed in an emergency where someone suffers a sudden cardiac arrest, the 999 Ambulance operator will advise the caller of the nearest public access defibrillator, will give the access code and instructions on how to perform CPR and how to use the defibrillator (which is very easy and safe). Chest compressions and rapid defibrillation can drastically improve the chance of survival while further help is on the way

FVFR have now helped to install 24 public defibs across local villages.
